1) “A Different Kind of Excellence”
The Texas Medical Board prohibits advertising that creates unjustified expectations, draws direct and unsubstantiated comparisons with other providers, or claims unsubstantiated superiority in a field. Thus, I believe it is important for me to explain my use of the phrase “a different kind of excellence” as I don’t intend for it to create unjustified expectations, or be seen as a comparison or a claim of superiority. Instead, I aim for the quest for “excellence” to be a guiding principal that shapes my actions and the actions of my staff both inside and outside of the operating room in order to provide my patients with quality results and rewarding interpersonal experience. With that said results are both subjective and variable and everyone’s experience is different – I merely aim to provide the highest levels of satisfaction. It is important to note that Austin is fortunate to have many qualified and high quality plastic surgeons. It is my expectation and experience that my Austin area colleagues seek excellence in their practices too. Therefore, I use the word different not as a claim of superiority but instead to emphasize that we all have had different paths, both personal and professional, that have lead us to our practice styles and techniques.
2) “Begin Your Quest Now”
I introduce the “Begin Your Quest Now” action button for contact information with my explanation of excellence. “Excellence is a quest that begins with passion, is fueled by persistence and patience, is shaped by precision, skill, creativity, and raw knowhow, and ultimately never ends.” I believe this is hard to refute. This is not a claim of superiority – it is not a claim at all. Additionally, I do not intend for this to set unjustified expectations. Results are both subjective and variable and experiences are different for everyone. However, I do intend to communicate that one of the principals that guides my practice of medicine in the quest for excellence. I aim to deliver experiences and results that I am hopeful my patients will consider are excellent. I think it is justified that potential patients have that expectation of me. I strive for excellence and intend to deliver excellent results and experiences but that I don’t intend to create unjustified expectations and that no claims are made as to the specific superiority and/or uniqueness and specific comparisons to other physicians are not made or implied.
3) “What patients are saying” – patient reviews
The “what patients are saying” comments are included to demonstrate individual patients’ points of view regarding their experiences with me (Dr. Weinfeld) and are deemed to be genuine and authentic. The comments are the sole point of view of individual past patients and may not reflect the nature of the results and experiences related to other patients (past, present, or future). These comments do not guarantee that future patients will have the same results or experiences. Results are in many ways subjective and variable and experiences are by their very nature never the same. With that said, I strive for excellence in the results and in the experiences I deliver to
my patients. I am hopeful that you the reader (and potential patient) will come to experience that as true.
Furthermore, I have obtained permission for use of the patient reviews and this serves as authentication of the fact that these are actual patient reviews. These permissions are on file with me and I am happy to share it with any patient, potential patient, physician, or government entitiy that wishes to see theme.
The pre/post-operative result gallery photographs provided for review on this site demonstrate the surgical results of Adam Bryce Weinfeld, MD. The site contains other photographs for decorative and design purposes that are images of non-patient models. These have been labeled “model” in all cases where size permits.
