This women underwent a Rhinoplasty several years ago by another plastic surgeon in Austin, Texas. She was unhappy with the uneven dorsal aesthetic lines and the pollybeak deformity. In reading the original operative report it was interesting to note that the original procedure was done less under local anesthesia/sedation, used the close technique, and took less than 40 minutes. To repair her nose and deliver the results she desired, I performed a careful open revision rhinoplasty under general anesthesia using cartilage from her own septum to rebuild the prior damaged tissues.
